Michael Portillo and his Bradshaw Guide visits Transmitter Block

Despite very wet weather Michael Portillo, complete with his trusty Bradshaw Guide visited the Transmitter Block.  His visit was being filmed for an episode to be shown in the new series of the BBC’s Great British Railway Journeys.  Volunteers and visitors had an opportunity to watch the filming take place.  Watch this space for an update when the programme will be broadcast.
