Civic Trust Award for the Transmitter Block

At the Civic Trust Awards held at the Imperial War Museum North, Manchester on March 1st, Bawdsey Radar received another award.  A ‘AABC Conservation Commendation’ award was given for “projects which demonstrate the highest standards of historic building conservation and make a significant contribution to the quality and appearance of the built environment.”  Thanks for this award are all due to the team who were responsible for transforming and saving the Transmitter Block.
